Job Summary

Join our team as the Director of Catering Operations at Union College and work alongside highly motivated and skilled individuals like yourself. In this pivotal role, you will manage our catering department, overseeing all aspects of internal and external catering services. Your responsibilities include maintaining superior food quality and service, managing client relationships, and ensuring each event reflects our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Train the catering staff in top-notch service techniques, menu presentation, and customer interaction.

• Monitor and control labor and food costs for each event.

• Foster and maintain outstanding client relationships.

• Collaborate with the Chef to design appealing and innovative menus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate of Science (AS) degree is advantageous.

• A minimum of three to five years of management experience in foodservice.

• Proven track record in catering and event management.

• Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
