  • Role and Responsibilities

    The Director of Business Development is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our company through the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities. This individual will work closely with senior management to develop and execute business development strategies that align with our company’s goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships, with a proven track record of growing businesses and increasing revenue.

    • Lead the development and implementation of the company’s business development strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, including potential markets, trends, and customer needs.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
    • Oversee the business development team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies.
    • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships and alliances that will drive growth and enhance the company’s market position.
    • Develop and execute plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the company’s customer base.
    • Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and contracts, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to senior management on progress and challenges.
    • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure cohesive and aligned strategies.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
    • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
    • Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
