Job Title: Director of Automation Business Development

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Market Expansion:  

• Travel to all branch markets to identify and engage with potential customers, consulting engineers, and other industry stakeholders.

• Relationship Building:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth.

• Project Development:

• Collaborate with local branch offices to co-sell and develop projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.

• Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to local account managers and operations managers to enhance their market presence and sales capabilities.

• Brand Promotion:

• Actively promote Mesa's brand and solutions at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

• Market Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.

• Sales Targets:

• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.

Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional Engineering license.

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the building automation or HVAC controls industry.

• Strong understanding of building automation systems and HVAC controls.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel regularly to various branch markets.

• Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.

Compensation Range: $188,000 - $198,000 per year
