    In close partnership with CIO and overall Technology Leadership, build out the financial plans to maximize the impact of investments in Technology.

    • Strategically drive Long Range Planning, annual goal/budget, and quarterly forecasting to provide insights and drive decisions on key technology investments

    • Prioritize Expense and Capital investments in technology development and procurement.

    • Ensure balanced but challenging goals are built into financial plans and forecasts

    • Educate and influence leaders at all levels across Technology to embrace fact-based and data driven plans to deliver on or exceed financial targets

    • Proactively identify risks and opportunities in the business

    Support the evolution of the technology business to help deliver on enterprise goals and financial commitments

    • Where needed, refine collaborative ways of working across Tech, FP&A and HR to strengthen partnership and outcomes

    • Drive the consolidated view and valuation of Generative AI to support our Enterprise Key priority tracking, inclusive of measuring holistic investment and value delivered

    • Partner with the Product Management team on the financial valuation model and methodology within the broader Product Management Prioritization Framework to drive greater clarity and transparency on Tech resource prioritization

    Build, Coach and lead a high-performing team

    • Attract, develop and retain diverse finance team while creating an inclusive team culture

    • Set priorities, remove obstacles for delivering on objectives, and ensure team is focused on providing value-added support that helps deliver strong financial performance

    • Create the long term vision for team priorities as well as obtain needed resources to support the business

    • Champion process improvement initiatives across Target's portfolio of businesses

    About you:

    • B.A/B.S degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Technology or other related field

    • MBA/CPA/MA Preferred

    • +7 years of business experience, retail a plus

    • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills

    • Strong analytical aptitude and critical thinking skills with demonstrated results driving critical strategies forward

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage project deadlines and competing priorities effectively

    • Demonstrated leadership skills that showcase the ability to direct, influence and coach a team of partners, peers, and direct reports

    This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
