    The Director IT EDP Delivery for Animal Health (AH) Commercial will be accountable for end-to-end management of Enterprise Data and Platforms (EDP) delivery for AH Commercial. This includes responsibility for compliance, talent management, performance, stability and cost efficiency of all IS processes and services provided for the EDP organization out of the IT function. The Head of EDP Delivery for AH Commercial will be responsible for steering / leading and managing all program / project management activities, and business consulting for AH Operating Units globally, engages and acts as the business partner to the AH functions within Boehringer Ingelheim, and drives regional / global initiatives. Drives a level of harmonization and integration of the processes and application landscape for in full consistency with the overall Enterprise Architecture. Increases efficiency and effectiveness of business processes by providing direction in use of state-of-the-art IT technologies and methodologies. Builds and provides strategic leadership in business. Drives strategic alignment with the business and implements strategies with technologies. Scouts for innovation in the field of responsibility and beyond and implements them to create business value

    This role is based out of our Duluth, GA location and has a flexible hybrid onsite work schedule 2-3 days per week dependent upon business needs.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Contribute to improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of business processes by applying adequate strategies, IT methods and technologies.

    • Responsible for steering / leading and managing all program / project management activities, and business consulting for EDP initiatives in the region / globally.

    • Responsible for further development and continuous improvement of the service portfolio and to delivery of services according to SLAs globally.

    • Responsible for proper communication related to EDP Delivery to the business functions and to meet business needs and goals.

    • Act as regional EDP business partner representing all areas of EDP.

    • Responsible for compliance of IT processes and services with laws, regulations and SOPs in the area of EDP with consideration to global requirements and impacts.

    • Manage and develop the IT human capital to provide excellence in performance, organizational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth.

    • Create a culture of innovation to foster a competitive advantage in EDP via technologies.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's´ degree in IS/IT or Business Administration and/or Masters´ degree and/or Professional Training is required.

    Four (4) to six (6) years´ experience leading employees and projects is required.

    International exposure in business is required.

    Executive leader with solid IS and business experience.

    Must be a solid strategic thinker and motivator and understands what delivers true value to the business function.

    Leadership skills, strong customer focus, vendor management and negotiation skills.

    Must have a solid understanding of both business and IT.

    Must be creative, curious and a strong networker.

    Must have a track record in implementing technologies and realizing business benefit in a global/regional environment (including different cultures).
