    As a director of Partner Digital Experiences on the Partner Experience Innovation Center (PEIC) team, you will play a leadership role in contemporizing the retail partner experience through digital workforce product management. This includes delivering value to our partners and the business, and solving some of their biggest challenges, all while accelerating towards our partner promise of a bridge to a better future . You will do this in strong partnership with a variety of teams across Starbucks, including Starbucks Technology, and in co-creation with our retail partners.     As a director of partner experience strategy , you will...

    Business Planning and Execution - Develop strategic plans and priorities for the digital product management team, managing execution of vision setting, strategic planning, and data driven portfolio management and decision making

    • Vision Setting, Strategic Planning and Roadmap Development - Lead a team to define the vision and future user experience, develop multi-year product portfolio strategy, and deliver objectives and success metrics for multiple portfolios and products within Digital Partner Experiences

    o Define the strategic vision, user experience, and roadmap for their journey, portfolio, and products in alignment with business goals and market trends.

    o Coach the team to define the product roadmap with requirements and measurable success metrics, driving alignment for delivery with cross-functional stakeholders.

    o Coach product management team to define the business value and develop business case for the digital portfolio.

    o Accountable for successful delivery of the portfolio/product experience and results.

    • Data-Driven Portfolio Management and Decision Making

    o Coach product management team to utilize data analytics, user feedback and market insights to inform product decision and drive continuous improvement.

    o Manage the tracking, forecasting and variance monitoring of funding for their portfolio.

    o Provide cohesion and integration across portfolio in service of enabling cross-pollinated learning, identifying areas of synchronization (ex. seamless user experiences), acceleration and/or efficiencies.

    Leadership - Set goals for the work group, develop organizational capability, and model how we work together:

    • Prioritize for impact : understand what success looks like, define it, measure it, and deliver on it. Adapt with strategic priorities, company business goals, and desired outcomes.

    o Identify and raise progress, dependencies and roadblocks to executive sponsors and senior leadership and help resolve them if needed.

    o Drive alignment with key cross-functional stakeholders for delivery through communicating product vision, updates, OKRs

    • Build relationships: with Starbucks Technology and other cross functional teams to gather feedback and inputs on risk, funding, scoping, and pacing in service of refining the portfolio roadmap.

    Partner Development & Team Building - Provide partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to build effective product management teams:

    • Challenge and inspire partners to achieve business results.

    • Oversee training and development of partners directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions.

    • Provide coaching, direction, and leadership support to team members to achieve goals.

    • Ensure capability building for the product management skillset

    • Conduct and ensure the completion of performance reviews.

    • Ensure partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.

    *If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

    The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
