    GENERAL OVERVIEW:

    AHN has a vision to be a nationally known pacesetter by leading the way that new and established patients and their clinicians engage in a person's health.     This job is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of AHN's virtual and digital information strategies. This includes overseeing the creation, storage, and dissemination of information through digital and virtual platforms. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that AHN's virtual and digital information is aligned with its overall business goals and objectives. A key part to making this vision work is to determine how we can employ technology to extend the reach, access, and effectiveness of clinical care delivery within the context of an integrated patient experience while maintaining, or exceeding, the quality of care. This job will also play a key role in identification and enablement of new, innovative virtual health and technology opportunities.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. (25%)

    • Assists in the identification, design and selection of healthcare technology platform, equipment, hardware and software, deployment, maintenance, and testing procedures to meet clinical and operational needs by providing the evaluation and research of medical device interoperability with other medical devices and/or IT infrastructure by identifying the hardware, software and clinical applications required. (20%)

    • Plan and deliver new network programs, recognizing successful revenue and overall P&L associated with area of responsibility. Innovating and accelerating the digital services. (20%)

    • Consults with senior leadership and operational leaders to obtain information to determine the best combination of technical solutions in equipment/software/practice. Oversees design and development of quality assurance measures that monitor the consistency and quality of new technology hardware and software. Develops effective relationships with key internal stakeholders. Ensures quality of service delivery, in-line with AHN IT governance arrangements and in-line with the relevant regulatory and legal requirements. (20%)

    • Serve as an ambassador for AHN and its strategy to partner with clinical organizations in the roll-out of our digital health models. Provides oversight and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic initiatives of the Clinical Informatics and Digital Health services. Provides other Information Technology duties as assigned within the organization, including ongoing maintenance of the Digital Health model and EPIC system. (15%)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical, Clinical Engineering, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

    • 5 years in Management or Leadership role

    • 5 years in IT Networking or Related

    • 5 years in Clinical Systems Engineering

    • Solid working knowledge of healthcare technology management, medical device and software interoperability and integration, hardware configuration, design, installation, troubleshooting and device and data security is required.

    • Expert level knowledge in software and hardware system integration in the areas of audiovisual technology, networking, telecom, and physiologic monitoring technologies.

    • High level of judgment, discretion, and sensitivity to confidential business and clinical issues is required. Ability to demonstrate professional credibility is required.

    • Highly effective written and verbal communication and leadership skills are required to effectively work and interact with senior leadership, physicians, engineers, consulting firms, administration, and support staff. Ability to draft technical specifications is required.
