    Description:

    Dietitian

    Position Purpose: Join our dedicated team at Trinity Health PACE as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist. Your role will encompass comprehensive clinical nutrition and therapeutic diet knowledge, participant nutritional assessments, food preference adherence, meal rounds, sanitation inspections, and nutritional education for participants, caregivers, and staff.

    What You Will Do:

    • Maintain a warm and collaborative atmosphere, fostering teamwork and resolving conflicts.

    • Lead and support department staff through mentoring, coaching, and professional development.

    • Manage department budget, equipment, and supplies.

    • Conduct initial and annual nutritional assessments and develop comprehensive care plans.

    • Monitor participant health metrics and recommend dietary adjustments.

    • Ensure the serving kitchen's cleanliness and orderliness.

    • Liaise with contracted meal services to meet participant needs.

    • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, or related field.

    • Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist licensure.

    • Minimum of one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.

    • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.

    • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

    • Ability to work independently, manage conflict, and adapt to change.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
