  • Muskego Health and Rehab is hiring for a passionate Dietary Cook to join our Food Services team in Muskego, WI. As a Dietary Cook, you will assist the kitchen staff in meal preparation, serving the nutritional meal to our residents, while following the residents' food restrictions according to their care plan.

    This position is Full-Time with rotating weekends.

    Duties and Responsibilities: The Dietary Cook is primarily responsible for preparing and serving meals according to cycles menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparing meal service, and performing assigned work and cleaning routines for the dietary department.

    • Portioning and serving of food items
    • Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors
    • Cleaning of dining rooms
    • Working on the tray line
    • Working in the dish room and pot sink
    • Sweeping and mopping
    • Disposal of trash and recyclables
    • Per Diem Duties as outlined by Director of Dietary
    Qualifications:
    • Prior kitchen experience as chef/cook
    • Leadership capabilities
    • Strong communication skills
    • Passion to work with diverse aging population
    • Previous long-term care experience is strongly preferred
    • 1+ years of customer service experience
