    Responsibilities/Duties: (the listing below is an overview of the role and does not encompass every requirement of the job).

    • Responsible for setting-up operation of die-cutting press.

    • Run and trouble shoot the baler and have exposure to pre-make ready.

    • Checks every load for carton quality.

    • Off-piles different varieties of product and does minor repairs to dies as required.

    • Correctly tag loads.

    • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.

    • General clean up.

    • Follows all company policies and procedures.

    • Attends and particiaptes in on-going training.

    • Ability to perform job tasks of various production positions.

    • Other duties as assigned and required.

    Education/Experience:

    • Grade 12 or equivalant.

    • Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    Skills/Physical Requirements:

    • Mechanical apptitude highly preferred.

    • Must be able to operate power vehicles.

    • Must be familiar with and able to adhere to company safety policies and government legislation. (i.e. Occupational Health and Safety Act).

    • Respects individuals, the company, authority, community and the team.

    • Must be able to keep up with productions needs in a fast-paced, high-speed machinery environment.

    • Must be a good communicator (speaking/listening/reading/writing) and able to work well in a collaborative environment.

    • Strong trouble-shooting skills.

    • Routine lifting and occassional heavy lifting. (up to 40 lbs).

    • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with frequent twisting, bending, push/pull and repetitive tasks.

    Please note: Successful candidates must be able work all shifts, including but not limited to days/afternoons/evenings/rotating shifts/continental shifts/ weekends and satutory holidays, in a 24/7 continuous operation environment.
