Developer I

This is an entry level developer position, in First Citizen's marketing technology development team.  The team is responsible for several key applications and systems including Adobe Experience Manager content management system (~~~), multiple marketing and documentation sites build on the Angular framework with a 'headless' content management system, FCB's web design language system implementation and additional frontend client-facing applications and web forms.

• • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs analysis for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
  • System Testing - Thoroughly tests systems to ensure proper installation of new software, system changes, and overall efficiency. Evaluates and conveys testing results.
  • Processing Support - Provides technical support by performing coding, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve processing capabilities. Works closely with business units and operation teams to support their business objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency - Utilizes knowledge to develop or install appropriate computer software.
  • Provides 24/7 on-call support rotation.

     

*This position will be 3 days in the office, in Raleigh, NC and 2 days remote

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in ProgrammingPreferred Area of Study: Computer SciencePreferred Area of Experience/skills: 

• CSS pre-processors such as SASS,

• front-end web frameworks such as ~~~ or Angular,

• application state management,

• API orchestration,

• API implementation and server side development using Java / Spring Boot.
