  • Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst located in Plano, Texas. As part of our team, your primary role will involve scanning and inventory management of computer equipment, with a focus on items valued over 5K. This role is particularly critical as we are currently in the process of an audit.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular scans of computer inventory, paying special attention to any items valued over 5K

    • Accurately update and maintain inventory records in the system

    • Utilize provided scanner and laptop to perform inventory tasks

    • Compile and update inventory data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

    • Collaborate with the auditing team to ensure all inventory tasks are completed within the designated timeline

    • Edit and update inventory documents as necessary, ensuring all changes are accurately tracked

    • Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues identified during the audit process

    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive inventory management

    • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory status and updates

    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to inventory management. Requirements - Should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

    • Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

    • Familiarity with scanning software and equipment

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation

    • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly

    • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles

    • Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues

    • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT detail oriented)
