  • Job Description

    We are seeking a Design Release Engineer specializing in Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems for gasoline, diesel, and hybrid vehicle applications. You will define aftertreatment systems to meet worldwide regulatory vehicle emission standards and align with program performance objectives and durability requirements. Key responsibilities include establishing engineering specifications, conducting component FMEA & DVP, and identifying system trade-offs. You will create and maintain catalyst prints, engineering specifications, and cost assumptions for various catalyst types. Additionally, you will lead supplier meetings to enhance manufacturing processes and perform audits of manufacturing facilities. Collaboration with cross functional teams is essential to deliver program-specific designs within timing and cost constraints. You will also support the evaluation of emerging aftertreatment technologies to meet future emissions regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications

    • 2-3+ years experience in powertrain engineering

    • Strong emissions engineering experience (D&R, calibration, testing, etc.)

    • Ability to analyze, plan, and solve complex system problems related to engines and emissions
