    Job Title: Deputy Contract Project Manager (J)

    Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Deputy Contract Project Manager to support building operations and mechanical maintenance services for a multi-tenant government office complex in New York, NY. The Deputy Contract Project Manager will have the authority to act for EMCOR Government Services in every detail during the term of the contract.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide direction and oversight to site-based staff.

    • Develop, execute, and oversee strategic operational changes to improve service delivery, financial performance and meet current and future direction from EGS and EMCOR Leadership

    • Establish a formalized approach to facility planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and facilities services

    • Ensure that all work meets established performance standards and codes, and that customer needs are fulfilled

    • Oversee a diverse technical and crafts staff and subcontractors

    • Ensure that workers are appropriately trained, qualified, and certified to safely accomplish assigned tasks

    • Accept notices of deductions, inspection reports and all other correspondence on behalf of EGS

    Qualifications:

    • The Deputy Contract Project Manager shall possess at least five years (within the past seven years) experience in the management and supervision of building mechanical operations and maintenance for an office building, courthouse, or other similar-type commercial facility, complex of one or more similar-type commercial office buildings - of which one or more buildings in the complex is a high rise with a minimum of 1,000,000 gross square feet.

    Compensation Range: $160k - $180k
