Dental Hygienist

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking Dental Hygienists in Alexandria, Minnesota! This role is in person/on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Direct Hire, permanent offer with client

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm

Pay: $45.00 to $57.00 an hour based on experience

Responsibilities of the Dental Hygienist:

• Perform thorough dental cleanings to maintain patients' oral health.

• Checks patient's medical records and heeds precautions as indicated.

• Takes and process X-rays.

• General dentistry duties: esthetic crown, bridge, implant and composite restoration

• Prosthodontics

• Endodontics

• Cosmetic dentistry

• Oral surgery

• Assumes responsibility for the cleanliness and care for dental hygiene operatory, darkroom and instruments take morning inventory of supplies, and orders and restocks as needed.

• Charts conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist.

• Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

• Effectively uses technology and office resource tools to accomplish job.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications of the Dental Hygienist:

• Graduate of a recognized dental hygiene school, new grads welcome!

• Dental Hygienist licensure in MN preferred

• License to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide

• Ability to co-treatment plan with DDS and provide comprehensive Dental Hygiene care

• Possess sharp clinical skills including but not limited to capturing diagnostic x-rays, diagnosing/treating periodontal disease, and providing options on preventative solutions for caries prevention and management
