    As our Denials and AR Follow Up Support, you will help R1 clients by analyzing claims information so that they can resolve complex accounts. Every day you will utilize provider systems to obtain necessary documentation for case files based on requests from employees. To thrive in this role, you must be able to identify different types of hospital documentation including, but not limited to, medical records, UB-04s, EOBs, Itemized Bills, Hospital Account notes, appeal letters, and denial/approval letters.

    Here's what you will experience working in Denials & AR Follow-Up Support:

    • Utilize technology to obtain work assignments and to communicate with other employees in a clear and concise manner.

    • Identify and communicate appeal deadlines to appropriate staff.

    • Open, scan and upload incoming correspondence and documentation to Quantum Appeals within 24 hours of receipt.

    • Follow-ups must be given to the appropriate employee working the file in accordance with office mail handling policy.

    • Handle rush and high balance cases in accordance with office policy.

    • Follow all HIPAA guidelines
