DC Process Trainer (A shift)

POSITION TITLE: DC Process Trainer

SHIFT: A shift

REPORTS TO: DC Supervisor

LOCATION: Gastonia

The Process Trainer will be "Master's" of their area. They need to be capable of training, trouble shooting and leading their area. Areas may include Picking, Loading, Imports, Inbound. The Process Trainer will have smaller teams manage and will be responsible for that team getting the work completed for the day.

Process Trainer Responsibilities :

• Trainer for area (master of the area)

• Will train on all job functions that can be done in that specific area

• Patient, to help develop proper training of the area

• Good communication

• Willing to help others and be a team player

• Be the go-to team contact of issues/concerns to take to the Team Lead/Specialist

• Help with safety concerns that team members may be doing

• Help support others as needed (will be a working role on the floor)

• Be a team that will travel between the buildings if workload calls for it

• Good understanding of LM to help team members log in

• Has good attendance and is accountable

Safety/Housekeeping:

• Safety focus - Drive to improve safety performance, ensure safety rules/practices and good housekeeping is followed.

• Ensure that all housekeeping and 6S audits are conducted daily. Target 6S rating to exceed 90%.

• Maintain clean and orderly work area.

• Maintain clean and orderly equipment and report any safety concerns on the rides.

Qualifications/Experience:

• HS/GED required, and 2 or more years of related experience preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities; previous leadership experience is an asset.

• Experience in distribution/logistics/warehouse preferred.

• Team oriented, self-motivated, and positive attitude.

• Good communication both written and verbal.

• Ability to plan work daily and be self-motivated

• Requires flexibility to changing priorities based on shipping and production department needs
