    • Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting classroom to enhance the learning environment.

    • Assist in coordinating engaging educational activities that inspire curiosity and growth.
    • Lead interactive songs and exercises that make learning a delightful adventure.
    • Offer structured guidance with a compassionate touch, nurturing accountability in children.
    • Support children with toileting or diaper changes when needed, ensuring their comfort.
    • Engage kids in fun, age-appropriate educational activities that spark enthusiasm.
    • Encourage active participation in various classroom activities, fostering a sense of teamwork.
    • Teach and empower children to become helpful contributors within the classroom.
    • Maintain open communication with parents, addressing any challenges or concerns promptly.
    • Keep families updated on their child's daily activities and progress during pick-up times.
    • Create diverse opportunities for children to learn and develop skills suitable for their age.
    • Ensure a sanitized environment by completing necessary cleaning tasks regularly.
    • Adhere to Federal, State, and County regulations in all assigned duties for utmost compliance.

    Requirements and Qualifications
    • 18 years of age or older
    • 6 months of childcare experience
    • High school diploma or GED; or
    • At least 12 credit hours from an accredited college or university including at least 6 credit hours in early childhood, child development, or a closely-related field; or
    • N.A.C., C.D.A., or C.C.P. credential
    • Current Food Handler's, CPR and First Aid certifications required
    • Obtain and maintain AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance card
    • Current Tuberculosis test required
    • Certification in early childcare or degree in childhood development preferred
    • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a professional childcare setting
    • Exceptional patience and ability to remain calm at all times
    • Excellent listening skills and an engaging demeanor
    • Solid working knowledge of childhood development
    • Creativity, compassion, and professionalism are a must
    • Fun and enthusiastic attitude
    • Willing to sing, dance, and "be silly" with the children
    • Physically able to perform tasks, including sitting on the floor, bending, and standing
    • Must be able to lift children weighing up to 30 lbs regularly
    • Exposure to a variety of childhood conditions and elements common with a childcare facility.
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Work and cooperate as part of a team
