Elsevier's Education division is the market leader in educational materials, both books and e-learning solutions, for students in the fields of Nursing & Health Professions.

About the Role

Elsevier is transforming into a data-driven enterprise. The Data Steward will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality data to support business decisions. This position involves working with customer and product data, defining data policies, and managing data governance within the Nursing & Health Education (NHE) department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality and consistency of data across systems.

• Collaborate with data stewards and the data governance community.

• Define and implement data policies.

• Manage data governance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Experience with master data management and data governance.

• Proven ability to create and implement data policies.

• Experience leading data management initiatives.

• Proficiency with data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Snowflake, Collibra).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Experience with daa visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI).
