    Job Description:

    Data Scientists II - Quality and Reliability Accessories

    Job duties:

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, distribution, and field teams to support product quality investigations, improvements, predictive modeling, and automation opportunities for the company's Quality/Reliability Accessories team.

    • Work with internal end users to understand requirements, formulate use cases, and translate needs into effective technical solutions.

    • Interact with multiple business units and cross-functional teams to drive consistency, standardization, and data governance across the enterprise.

    • Utilize project management skills to track multiple projects simultaneously to ensure adherence, demonstrating "Process Rigor" and "Initiative" to schedule and performance using DMAIC framework and communicating results.

    • Leverage both new and existing technologies to create monthly reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations that clearly measure KPIs. This includes supporting monthly reporting of Customer Field Feedback and creating effective visualization of data using Microsoft's Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to assist Post-Production and New Product Development teams.

    • Recommend process improvement solutions through effective use of business and process analysis techniques (Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping).

    • Analyze product data streams to identify trends throughout the product lifecycle.

    • Partner with IT to drive creation and implementation of new quality data streams.

    • Leverage Data Science expertise for exploratory, new technology, and R&D opportunities (Generative AI, Process Mining).

    Job Requirements:

    Master's or equivalent degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of relevant experience. Experience must include:

    • Core business processes (Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing).

    • Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, Power Automate, Lists, and Forms.

    • Application of Predictive Modeling (Machine Learning/AI) to "Big Data," Large Datasets.

    • Data Warehouses, Data Visualization techniques, and BI Development tools (WINSPC, Kepware Software, Minitab or Microsoft Azure related technology/cloud computing applications).

    • SQL Server and relational databases.

    • Reliability concepts and software (Reliasoft or Weibull).

    • Industry 4.0, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, 8D, SPC, OEE, Value Stream Mapping, or Process Mapping.

    • Customer Reviews, Field Feedback from websites, or other external sources.

    Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time required.
