Job Description

Leads a team of people who design, develop and program models, methods, processes, and systems to understand, consolidate and analyze structured, unstructured, diverse "big data" sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.

Plans, hires, and manages a team of data scientists and AI engineers to research and develop the above solutions. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in an effort to integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through partners and subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management; negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

Responsibilities

Plans, hires, manages, and controls the activities of a team that interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in an effort to integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Sources and develops AI models and solutions to address business problems involving numeric and textual data. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.

US: Hiring Range: from $161,600 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
