Data Science Engineering Intern

Qorvo's Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, Connectivity and Sensors, and Global Operations business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

• Train, test, and deploy machine learning and AI models in Python on Spark
• Develop, construct, test, and maintain data engineering pipelines using Spark on AWS to unify data from multiple sources in support of diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive modeling
• Implement code control and revision using CI/CD data pipelines in Gitlab
• Maintaining a production grade code base with clear documentation and testing
• Analyze data to optimize process and product performance, increase yields, and reduce costs
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, and data scientists to establish and refine requirements for data and analytics

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or relevant degree (Graduate degree preferred)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Proficiency with Python
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Git, SQL
• Experience with common Data Science libraries in Python (pandas, sklearn, pytorch, keras, matplotlib or similar)
• Understanding of Apache Spark
• High curiosity and a passion for data
• Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
