  • The Data Privacy Coordinator is responsible for working with the Data Privacy Officer & Oversight group and NA Data Privacy Information Security (DPIS) Lead to ensure the appropriate processing and response to rights requests and activities governed by Accenture Data Privacy Policy. The Data Privacy Coordinator will document and track activities in the appropriate systems to account for metrics and regulatory obligations, and research and assist with privacy related questions and issues related to Accenture projects and activities within North America.

    Key responsibilities

    • Act as a point of contact for the NA DPIS Lead and support all data privacy related activities; including ongoing support on improvement actions

    • Process incoming inquiries and requests related to employee's data privacy focusing on rights requests

    • Assist the DPIS Lead in ensuring all applicable data privacy controls are implemented, and that the appropriate checks are carried out (as defined by Global Data Privacy) to provide evidence of effectiveness

    • Review of solutions to assess Accenture Data Privacy Policy compliance

    • Run monthly metrics and reports, ensure records and latest documents are up to date

    • Coordinate the research and resolution required for responding to individual rights requests (IRR) to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations

    • Promote and support privacy and security awareness campaigns

    Basic qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience creating/responding to correspondence in a customer service or client facing role

    Preferred qualifications/skills:

    • Knowledge in ISO 27701 standard

    • Knowledge in US and Canadian privacy laws and regulations

    • Relationship management experience

    • Reporting experience, working knowledge with BI dashboard

    • Auditing experience

    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and MS Teams

    • Solid organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills

    Professional skills

    • Ability to team in a global working model and then execute locally

    • Ability to interact with all levels of employees, including Senior Leadership

    • Ability to work under minimal supervision

    • Strong analytical and collaboration skills

    • Strong communication (written and oral) skills and interpersonal skills

    • Attention to detail, complex problem solving

    • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

    • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

    • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
