Duties: Guide the building of logical/physical data models. Develop metrics and procedures for assessing, managing and characterizing meta-data and dataset consumption. Take active part in researching and experimenting with leading/emerging data governance as well as processing methodologies and technologies to facilitate advanced analytics use cases. Conduct user research to identify pain points and inform design. Help to discover, profile, acquire, process, model, and own data for solutions. Build product backlog and prioritize its items to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), as well as keep the product backlog up-to-date. Ensure product features and processes align with applicable compliance and risk management standards. Advocate the adoption of open-sourced data processing pipelines and algorithms to help clients manage and anticipate data needs from varied structured and unstructured data sources. Contribute to data architecture and data management strategy design. Participate in collaborating with the firm's chief data offices and technology functions to develop standards and best practices. Participate in relevant industry and governance groups. Influence key stakeholders to define tasks and guidelines for workflows and manage decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Domain Architect Director, Operations Manager, Manager Program Management, Sr. Program Manager, Project Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Domain Architect Director, Operations Manager, Manager Program Management, Sr. Program Manager, Project Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires 3 years of experience with the following: developing clear product vision statements that align with business objectives and data strategies; working with engineering, product, UX, data owners, and data publishers to communicate product vision, collect feedback, and execute on product vision; building relationships and communicating with a multitude of stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategy; performing analysis on comprehensive operations to ensure the proper metrics are visible and measured at all levels of the product and operations; developing and monitoring metrics and KPI's used to measure the success of product operations; creating and delivering presentations used to convey product roadmaps and strategies; leading a team throughout the product development lifecycle; using statistical and machine learning techniques to create scalable business processes, systems, and operations; analyzing and interpreting large volumes of business and technical data for specific trend analysis; designing, developing, and evaluating highly innovative models for business operations; establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analysis, model development, validation, and retraining.
