Data Entry/Payroll Clerk

Description

An Organization in the West Mifflin area is looking for a Payroll Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role primarily involves the entry and management of payroll data, including the accurate recording of employee hours and processing of payrolls, specifically for ERAP and union payrolls.

The Payroll Data Entry Specialist would be responsible for the following duties

• Enter payroll data, including employee hours, into the payroll system with high accuracy.

• Assist in processing payroll for ERAP and union employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Collect and report employee hours, ensuring correct data entry and payroll calculations.

• Support in managing union payroll processes and reporting requirements.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll records.

• Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payroll processing.

• Potential to expand responsibilities to other branches as the role grows.

Requirements

• Experience can trump degree

• Experience in payroll data entry or a similar role preferred.

• Basic understanding of union payroll and hours reporting is beneficial.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
