Data Entry Clerk

Description We are on the hunt for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to be an integral part of our team in the non-profit industry, based in Hackensack, New Jersey. In this role, you will be expected to manage and maintain accurate customer records, handle customer inquiries, and ensure efficient processing of credit applications. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input data to support our grant administration process.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to maintain and organize files.

• Ensure accuracy of all entered data, carrying out regular checks and rectifications as necessary.

• Assist in the management of customer credit applications, ensuring efficient processing and handling.

• Perform calculations and scanning tasks as required.

• Handle email correspondence and engage in customer service activities.

• Use your 10 key skills to ensure all data entry tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel to enhance your performance in this role.

• Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring all files are properly stored and easily retrievable.

• Utilize QuickBooks to further enhance the efficiency of our data management systems. Requirements - Proficiency in 10 Key Skills is essential for efficient data input.

• Strong Customer Service skills are required to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability in Data Entry, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

• Proficient in Email Correspondence, ensuring clear and timely communication.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management and documentation.

• Ability to Organize Files systematically for easy retrieval and reference.

• Capability to Perform Calculations accurately, contributing to data reliability.

• Experience in Scanning documents, with a focus on clarity and readability.

• Proficient Typing skills are required for efficient data input and communication.
