Part Time - $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

As a Data Entry Assistant at Diamond Precision Products, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production accounting processes. You will work closely with the finance and production teams to accurately record and track financial transactions related to our manufacturing operations.

• Record daily production data accurately into accounting systems.
• Generate production reports detailing materials usage, labor costs, and overhead expenses.
• Reconcile production records with inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Open work orders, issue materials to work orders, establish work order routing and close work orders.
• Reconciling physical inventory.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software. Alere and Paylocity experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Inquisitive, will ask questions regarding observations.
• Analytical, will collect and analyze information and work on solving the problem.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and terminology is a plus.
