    We are looking for an accomplished Data Engineer to consolidate technical, analytical and reporting skills to cater to the fast-changing needs of the business across the globe and contribute positively towards organization's corporate vision, mission & goal and hone technical knowledge, experience on continuous basis to take up challenging roles and responsibilities. The data analyst will support the team through development and presentation of reporting and analytics using a variety of data sources and serve as analytics consultant for different level projects.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Interact with key stakeholders and serve as analytic contact/resource for external business partners to support ongoing data exchange, analysis, reporting and interpretation of performance results

    • Support complex analytic projects leveraging data from multiple sources

    • Work with HealthCare Economics Team on continued expansion of data infrastructure needs, updates and developments

    • Data research activities for HealthCare Economics Team

    • Provide end to end support for ETL related activities

    • Suggest improvement in existing process to save (cost, time, effort)

    • Support Fee For Service Business delivery through Databricks, Airflow, Snowpark and Snowflake

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience of Cloud Databases specifically Snowflake

    • Experience providing solutions that are forward thinking in data and analytics

    • Experience in preparing and planning the test plans

    • Solid experience in Technical troubleshooting using various tools

    • Solid experience supporting ETL Operations

    • Solid analytical expertise: data analysis, data manipulation, data extraction

    • Experience in programming using Python, PySpark, SQL

    • Experience in Cloud data warehouse like Snowflake analytical warehouse

    • Expert in designing and developing ETL Architecture using tools such as Azure Databricks/SnowPark or any other cloud ETL

    • Familiarity with Azure resources like ADF, Databricks etc.

    • Experience owning end-to-end development, including coding, testing, debugging and deployment

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • Experience understanding requirement mapping document and designing jobs.

    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

    • Solid facilitation, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in writing the Snowflake Stored Procedures and query performance optimization

    • Experience with Orchestration tools, Azure DevOps, GitHub and Airflow

    • Experience in data deep-dive projects

    • US Healthcare experience especially for EPIC data model

    • Business Intelligence exposure

    • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes services

    • Demonstrated ability to relay analytical insight to internal and external stakeholders by building and applying technical and functional skills

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
