  • Description We are offering an opportunity to a Data Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The role will focus on centralizing our existing data into a library to make it more accessible to our teams and departments. The position will involve combining traditional and loosely connected intelligence data, developing and maintaining ETL processes, and building custom data solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Consolidate existing data into a central location for easier accessibility across teams and departments.

    • Merge traditional data with loosely connected intelligence data.

    • Design, maintain, and develop ETL processes for efficient data transformation and management.

    • Utilize SQL skills to query and manipulate data based on requirements.

    • Develop custom data solutions and scripts using Python and Java.

    • Leverage deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS, including S3, Glue, Lambda, and Kinesis.

    • Build and maintain scalable pipelines and infrastructure using AWS Step functions.

    • Utilize Snowflake and Datawarehousing for data storage and management.

    • Apply data modeling techniques for effective data manipulation.

    • Perform performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data operations.

    • Use Alteryx to manage and optimize data preparation.

    • Manage data retrieval by configuring data connections and manipulating APIs. Requirements - Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes

    • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL

    • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

    • Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages

    • Experience with S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Kinesis

    • Knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing platform

    • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques

    • Ability to develop and maintain data architectures

    • Experience in designing, building, and managing large scale data processing systems

    • Ability to work collaboratively with data scientists to meet data requirements

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
