Data Visualization Developer / Data Engineer

Minimum Clearance: Secret

Work Schedule: Remote (Some on-site required - either on a quarterly basis or as needed design sessions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Business (or at least 3-5 years of related field experience).

• Experience planning, developing & designing dashboards with modular design, KPIs, filters, calculated fields, sets, groups, or parameters utilizing visualization platforms.

• Experience with extracting data from industry standard database systems.

• Experience integrating backend (databases) with frontend (visualization platforms).

• A minimum of two years experience with PowerBI utilizing DAX functions to create measures

and data models.

• Knowledge of PowerBI best practices in performance tuning and user-centric design

• Understand and implement best practices in management of data, including master data,

reference data, metadata, and data quality.

• Ability to gather and analyze data.

• Support regular ad-hoc data querying and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI integration with Power Platform Applications

• Experience with Excel, SQL or industry standard databases.

• Experience building financial reports.

• Experience working with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum).

• Experience working with government financials is a plus.

• Experience working with government contracts is a plus.

• Experience building financial dashboards is a plus.

• Experience utilizing MS Teams/Planner

• Experience w/ data analytics; more specifically the ETL process is a plus.

• Utilize skills in data engineering, data analytics, data warehousing, and visualization, supporting

financial initiatives.
