Data Analyst

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in the Construction/Contractor industry, located in TOWSON, Maryland. This role involves supporting our team in a hybrid work environment, with a focus on SQL, Oracle, and visualization using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support the team by providing accurate data analysis using tools such as SQL and Oracle.

• Create and maintain dashboards for data visualization using Microsoft Power BI.

• Utilize BusinessObjects Technologies for reporting and data analysis tasks.

• Work with EO/IR systems for efficient data handling and processing.

• Use Microsoft Word for drafting and presenting reports and findings.

• Conduct AB Testing to improve the effectiveness of data analysis strategies.

• Contribute to Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives by providing insights from data.

• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents to outline project goals and objectives.

• Ensure the accurate and efficient analysis of data in line with business requirements.

• Utilize MS SQL Server for database management and data analysis tasks. Requirements - Possess strong knowledge and experience in BusinessObjects Technologies

• Proficiency in Database management and EO/IR systems

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite, particularly Microsoft Word

• Ability to perform AB Testing and Business Intelligence (BI)

• Experience in creating Business Requirement Document

• Demonstrated ability to create Dashboards and perform Data Analysis

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Power BI

• Experience with MS SQL Server

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven ability to work in a team environment

• Must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work under pressure

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
