RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Your Impact
We are seeking an experienced Fraud Operations Manager (AKA Associate) for Deposit products and services. This leader will manage the day to day activities of a team of 15 to 20 Fraud Analysts and Specialists. Candidate will report to the VP of Deposit Fraud Operations. Candidates must have direct management experience in day to day deposit fraud operations management of all aspects of fraud prevention, detection, recovery and servicing. Prior experience preferred in managing fraud operations for an online/digital bank. Experience in working fraud alerts/causes for identity theft, application fraud, account take over, customer scams and mule activity while balancing customer friction is preferred. Experience and foundational understanding in all applicable deposit related compliance regulations and applicable laws required.

Well versed in all loss types and can readily identify the characteristics of each when present on an account including identity theft, account take over, scams, disputes and all other relevant 1

party fraud experienced by online/digital banks.
Ability to strengthen the development and execution of loss prevention and recovery strategies
3 to 5 years’ experience of all aspects of fraud deposits servicing and operations including applicable regulatory requirements, and 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership role in such environment or that of a similar nature.
Must have knowledge and experience in compliance requirements and procedures with regards to working fraud cases that involve Reg E, Reg CC, UCC4, Reg D and all aspects of NACHA ACH Rules and ACH recall processes and requirements.
Ability to establish and maintain a culture of risk management and compliance while balancing customer friction.
Experience in a startup environment, with the ability to be adaptable, agile and work at pace will be highly beneficial as we grow and develop our Deposits business
You will drive the Fraud Operations optimization, systems and train and develop the team from a technical perspective.
Experience in working with Risk Management, Compliance and Audit partners and occasionally interacting directly with external regulatory agency personnel.
Manages the individual performance of the team, rewarding behaviors and/or performance when appropriate as well as addressing performance and behavioral issues as they arise
Must be able to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to organize and prioritize assignments as well as day to day responsibilities and unplanned action items that must be completed to meet management expectations and compliance deadlines.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills across a wide array of stakeholders across the firm.
