  • Customer Service Specialist - 12 Month Term- Onsite

    We have an amazing opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist to join our world class organization in Ottawa, ON !

    You will serve a global customer base in conjunction with the Program Management team and is the primary interface to designated customers and all internal stakeholders to provide the best customer experience possible.

    Location: Ottawa, ON- Onsite Position

    Your Challange:

    • Primary focus will be on the management of customer deliverables, and timely, accurate provision of status from receipt to shipment

    • Accurate and timely entry of complex customer purchase orders, including fresh lot and repair orders

    • Work with Planning and Finance Teams to ensure product is ready and available in the expected lead times

    • Tracking and expediting internal Contract Reviews and Order Acknowledgement/Acceptance

    • Day to day administration of the Order Management Desk inbox and purchase order log in MS SharePoint

    • Coordination of customer approvals required in support of Broker by Approval for COTS products

    • Partnering with Program Management and LifeCycle Services teams to support customer reports and deliverables

    • First line of support in interfacing with the customer for day-to-day issues, primary liaison between the customer and other internal departments

    • Effectively communicate details of customer orders to various internal teams to ensure all requirements are met including but not limited to End User Statements, Broker by Approval, PO Amendments.

    • Work closely with Program Management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive activities that support the customer

    • Participate in customer conference calls and meetings, standing in for Program Mangers as required

    • Escalation of issues to Program Management and Supervisor, Customer Services & Sr. LifeCycle Specialist

    • Responsible for communicating any changes to contractual delivery dates and working with the customer to provide schedule relief as required.

    • Attend internal meetings to mitigate possible risks to on-time delivery performance

    • Highly motivated, ability to coordinate tasks across multiple groups/l sites

    • Strong computer skills including MS-Office, MRP and CRM systems (SAP or Pivotal knowledge a benefit)

    • Negotiating skills and abilities an asset - always aiming for "win-win"

    • Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) processes and associated export policies and restrictions

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

    • Experience in Order Management or related experience in customer service
