Customer Service Representative

Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to become a part of our team in the construction/contractor industry based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will play a vital role in processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit

• Resolve customer issues and inquiries effectively

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions

• Discuss and formulate estimates with clients and vendors when required

• Make independent decisions when necessary

• Establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products

• Utilize Excel spreadsheets to determine plant, freight, and field operations costs associated with the project

• Interface with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to cost estimates

• Maintain daily contact with fellow employees, management, federal/state governments, customers, and vendors. Requirements - Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls in a timely and detail oriented manner.

• Proven track record in providing exceptional call center customer service.

• Strong ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and effectively.

• Proficient in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience in email correspondence, able to compose detail oriented and articulate responses.

• Ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls, balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of performing complex tasks and managing large data sets.

• Adept in using Microsoft Word for drafting correspondence, reports, and other necessary documents.

• Experience in order entry, ensuring all details are accurately recorded and processed.

• Ability to schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate schedules in a fast-paced environment. TalentMatch®
