    We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Norwalk, Connecticut. This role has two shifts: 3pm to 11pm AND 11pm to 7am, to choose from. This role is centered around providing exceptional customer service in a bilingual capacity, supporting customers. As a vital part of our team, you will be tasked with responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate customer records.

    Responsibilities

    • Providing bilingual customer support in both Spanish and English across various communication channels.

    • Assisting customers with their orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns.

    • Resolving product-related issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborating with other departments to resolve complex customer issues and escalating problems as needed.

    • Communicating effectively with customers, providing clear and concise information.

    • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.

    • Updating customer profiles and databases with relevant information.

    • Staying informed about product features, updates, and changes to provide accurate information to customers.

    • Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to enhance overall customer service and share valuable insights.

    • Acting as a language resource within the team, supporting colleagues with translation and interpretation when necessary.

    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a call center environment

    • Proficient in handling inbound calls and addressing customer inquiries

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    • Ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs

    • Uphold the company's high standard of customer service

    • Demonstrated ability to handle complaints, even when handling unpleasant customers

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

    • Proficient in relevant computer applications and call center systems

    • High level of professionalism and patience when dealing with challenging situations

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    • Willingness to work different shifts as required, including weekends.
