  • Description We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the construction industry in Fremont, California. In this role, you will be the primary contact for customers, helping them navigate through the home building process and resolving any queries or concerns they may have. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and provide assistance throughout the home building process.

    • Process and manage billing activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

    • Resolve any discrepancies in billing and handle account queries.

    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to promote trust and loyalty.

    • Provide product and billing information to customers as needed.

    • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

    • Coordinate with the construction department staff and contractors to ensure quality control of finished product.

    • Conduct homeowner walk-throughs and provide information on the operation of appliances, heating/cooling systems, and home maintenance.

    • Assist in the resolution of any concerns or issues that may arise during the home building process.

    • Ensure the delivery of knowledgeable, timely, and detail oriented service to homeowners. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role Experience in the construction/contractor industry is a plus but not required - Proven track record of managing customer accounts effectively - Demonstrated ability to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction - Experience providing post-sales support to customers - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in using customer service software and databases - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints efficiently - Willingness to learn, adapt, and improve existing customer service processes - High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a recognized institution is a plus.
