    As directed by the Oracle Academy Member Education manager and working with the Curriculum Team

    1. Assist, Administer and Manage course content on Oracle Academy Learning Management System (Develop, Maintain, Publish and Synchronization Content)

    2. Slide resources

    3. PDF resources

    4. Code resources

    5. Oracle Academy curriculum quiz and exams

    6. Test and verify course links

    7. Test and verify course reports

    8. Assist and Manage maintenance and synchronization of Oracle Curriculum files with Oracle workspaces System (Publish content, synchronization, and maintenance)

    9. Design, build, and deploy courses for content-publishing projects

    10. Assist and Contribute to creation and maintenance of subject content in Oracle Academy Curriculum

    11. Creation of new curriculum content

    12. Creation of curriculum quiz and exam questions

    13. Creation of workshops and tutorial materials

    14. Creation of curriculum support documents, videos, presentations

    15. Assist and Manage new curriculum and curriculum update projects

    16. Assist and Manage training delivery content on Oracle Academy Learning Management System

    17. Assist and manage responses to member support queries relating to curriculum

    Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment and exceptional consultative skills. Many of the tasks will require participation in project teams and at times may have project lead role.

    Responsibilities

    You will coordinate and guide development contributions from other courseware development team members. Solicit & incorporate training and member feedback from support queries and training events into existing curriculum materials.

    As a member of the Member Education Team, you will contribute to enabling institutional members in academia to quickly and effectively learn and teach Oracle Academy curriculum. At times, there may be a requirement to travel for team meetings and to present at educational conferences, and also be called upon to deliver training.

    You will work with several functional groups within the Academy (such as Marketing and Operations) and Lines of Business within Oracle such as Product Management, Oracle University, Instructors, and subject-matter experts to translate academic and business needs into design and development of engaging courseware.

    You will contribute and at times lead projects in which you will

    • Create/define and present solution/learning/project approaches and scope in the design phase to stakeholders

    • Identify/confirm high-level academic objectives, audience requirements, primary needs and drivers

    • Lead content authoring process: pilot new tools; author highly complex content, when necessary.

    • Manage all instructional design aspect of course development including testing, delivery and maintenance.

    • Drive, document and roll out best practices for design

    US: Hiring Range: from $70,600 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
