Cost Accountant

Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. As a Cost Accountant, you will be part of the Accounting department supporting the CFO. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be self-motivated, and come from a manufacturing background.

Job Title: Cost Accountant

Location: Pomona, CA

Pay Range: $32 - 35 / hour

What's the Job?

• Provide detailed costing and sales price information to the CFO in all areas of production.

• Research and verify actual labor and material costs of parts and equipment to ensure accurate costing.

• Provide variance reports, costing reports, and all necessary costing related activity.

• Collect data to generate labor cost reports.

• Support the customer service department and sales department with costing and pricing.

• Develop and maintain pricing matrix for various standards.

• Take initiative to investigate and solve problems.

What's Needed?

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.

• Must have cost analysis technical skills.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Be self-motivated.

• Come from a manufacturing background.
