Dowhas an exciting opportunity for aCost Accountant / Incentive Coordinatorlocated inCalgaryorFort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN).
Responsible for data recording, analysis, and metrics reporting of government-required information to ensure compliance with government-funded projects.
Identifying building, and implementing new processes, technology, and solutions for data collection that are government-compliant and audit-ready.
Analyze, record, and report information to government to maintain compliance with government-subsidized projects.
Work cross-functionally to collect data and prepare for reporting cycles and audits, as needed.
Maintains data reporting systems, practices and processes to achieve results and/or improve accuracy. Handling multiple projects with minimal or no supervision.
Accounting / Cost Accounting experience
Ability to work independently, with strong self-direction
Detail-oriented
Compliance mindset
Strong organizational skills
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Accurately and reliably records and reads data
Strong multi-tasking, problem solving, and time management skills
Working knowledge of standard computer software (Microsoft applications, SAP) and the ability to rapidly learn specialty software for the role.
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, FinanceORabove a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
New CPA certification or pursuing CPA.
A minimum of 1-year relevant experience is required.
A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including any type of permanent residency support.
This position can be located in either Calgary or Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada.
This position does not offer relocation assistance.
