    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position is responsible for leading the planning, coordination and execution of high-profile corporate meetings and events. The person who fills this role will be a key member of the corporate communications team and will lead the team responsible for organizing a range of team member events. Events managed include national team meetings, company leadership events, board functions, incentive trips and more.

    The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with relevant corporate event planning experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key responsibilities include:

    • End-to-end event management : Oversee the full lifecycle of events, including planning, budgeting, vendor selection, logistics, on-site execution and post-event analysis.

    • Team leadership : Manage and mentor a small team of event coordinators. Foster a collaborative and creative environment to ensure high performance and personal growth.

    • Budget management : Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards. Monitor expenses and provide detailed financial reporting post-event.

    • Logistics oversight : Coordinate all logistics including travel arrangements, accommodations, catering, and transportation for attendees. Ensure seamless event execution with an emphasis on attendee experience.

    • Strategic planning : Collaborate with senior leadership to align event strategy with company goals and brand messaging. Propose innovative ideas to elevate the quality and impact of corporate meetings and events.Develop and implement event strategies that align with corporate goals and branding.Identify event objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure event success.

    • Partner management : Manage ongoing relationships with all event management and sourcing companies and partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, partners and internal teams.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required

    • A bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, communications, marketing or a related field.

    • 5+ years of experience in corporate event planning and management.

    • 1+ years of experience effectively leading a team of event planners, demonstrated effective interpersonal and leadership skills.

    • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from conception to completion.

    • Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    • A willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on new tools, technologies and industry trends and an ability to quickly adapt to changes.

    • Demonstrated high level of initiative and ability to work independently.

    • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

    Preferred

    • 8+ years of experience in corporate event planning and management.

    • 3+ years of experience effectively leading a team of event planners, demonstrated effective interpersonal and leadership skills.

    • Proficiency in event management software and tools.

    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

    • Experience in planning and managing incentive reward experiences at international destinations.

    Location: Austin, MN (Global Headquarters)

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This role requires 20-30% travel time throughout the year, and may require working evenings and weekends to support event schedules. Physical activity may be required for event setup and breakdown.
