POSITION SUMMARY
The Corporate Fitness Manager is a dual role as a dynamic leader and elite Personal Trainer, with the ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment. This role requires the individual to effectively manage and balance our corporate client relationship, ensure successful execution of corporate wellness objectives, and integrate personal training services to enhance corporate client health and wellness. The Corporate Fitness Manager will be held accountable to individual personal training revenue, in addition to all other facility performance metrics, all while coaching and mentoring other Personal Trainers to do the same. They prioritize the needs and asks of our corporate client and ensure a timely, effective response to all requests. Working closely with the Guest Relations Senior Team Lead – Corporate Fitness, the Corporate Fitness Manager ensures all teammates are supported and engaged in the overall goal of making an impact through our corporate partnership.
Utilizing exceptional communication skills and their ability to lead and motivate a diverse team consisting of the Guest Relations Senior Team Lead, Guest Relations Teammates, Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors, the Corporate Fitness Manager will mentor and provide guidance to achieve hiring, engagement, revenue and all other facility goals. This leader showcases strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, corporate environment, with the ability to effectively adapt to and implement prompt change at the request of our corporate client.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT & ENGAGEMENT
- Serve as the primary liaison between FX and the corporate client, ensuring open lines of communication and alignment of fitness and wellness objectives.
- Conduct regular meetings with senior management and/or corporate stakeholders to assess engagement, satisfaction, present progress reports, and discuss opportunities for enhancement.
- Assist in planning and executing corporate engagement events, representing TEAM FX through appropriate, professional attire, engagement tools, and marketing collateral.
- Analyze corporate partner and member feedback to constantly evolve.
FACILITY MANAGEMENT
- Oversee all operations of the corporate fitness facility, ensuring a high-energy, welcoming, engaging and safe environment for all corporate members.
- Develop and manage fitness programs that align with corporate wellness targets and enhance corporate member engagement.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators for the facility, presenting data and action plans to senior management and stakeholders to meet and exceed revenue and engagement goals.
- Monitor facility maintenance and equipment upkeep, communicating any concerns effectively and promptly to senior management, ensuring a prompt resolution.
- Assist the Senior Team Lead in analyzing and adjusting the group fitness class schedule, instructor and experience based on feedback and engagement.
TEAM
- Foster a culture of continuous innovation and exceeding expectations, all while holding all teammates and contractors accountable to the FX standards and best practices.
- Lead, mentor and support the Senior Guest Relations Team Lead – Corporate Fitness in all Guest Relations, Group Exercise and other areas.
- Manage the hiring, scheduling, training, and performance of all Personal Trainers, holding each accountable to revenue goals, continuing education and providing an exceptional experience.
- Delegate and leverage teammates to meet all needs and asks of our corporate partner.
- Maintain expert knowledge of all CRM software systems, holding all teammates accountable to the accuracy of membership sales, POS transactions, and any other member or guest inquiries.
- Oversee the Senior Team Lead to ensure the full sales-cycle in our lead generation system is being followed, ensuring prompt replies to prospects and upholding facility and teammate performance goals.
- Hold team huddles to effectively communicate all corporate client updates, events, engagement efforts and any other vital information.
- Coach all teammates in the moment, promoting a culture of transparency and our open-door policy.
- Oversee the Senior Team Lead in processing payroll and invoices for the Guest Relations Teammates and the Group Instructors.
- Accurately process payrolls for all personal trainers, following standard operating procedures.
PERSONAL TRAINING
- Provide elite, exceptional personal training sessions to clients, tailoring plans and programs to meet individual fitness goals and maximize progress.
- Exceed individual personal training revenue goals through proactive prospecting and retaining clients.
- Coach and mentor a team of personal trainers, conducting regular touch bases to review performance and motive and guide professional development.
- Prioritize continuing education for all personal trainers, promoting a culture of elite and knowledgeable professionals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject such as exercise science or kinesiology preferred, or comparable work experience;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a personal trainer or fitness instructor, including proven success in expanding your client base and effective strategies to consistently generate new leads through a variety of methods;
- Minimum of 3 years effectively managing a team of fitness and wellness trainers and service providers including hiring, talent management, and oversight of contractor trainers to supplement as needed to meet business needs;
- Great communication skills – written, verbal, and listening – paired with good emotional intelligence and positive interpersonal skills;
- Must be a pro-active, solutions-oriented person who addresses problems and potential issues without hesitation, using good judgment and;
- Works well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, and must be comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback in a constructive manner;
- Current national certification (NSCA, ASCM, NASM) required, and you must be trained/certified in administration of CPR, AED, and First Aid; and
- Good MS Office and general computer skills, plus experience with ABC Fitness Solutions software preferred but not required.
