  • Job Description

Oracle's Corporate Architecture team is responsible for setting and enforcing a wide variety of technology policies governing the security of our networks and products, uses of third party technology, services, and personnel, and consumption and releases of open source. The ideal candidate for this position would be a technical contracts manager, business operations manager or attorney with enough technical depth and experience to readily understand both the details of proposed technological solutions, and their implications vis-à-vis security, licensing and competitive issues. It also requires someone who is interested in learning what is going on across a huge range of product and service offerings, and whose personality will allow them to pragmatically help manage Oracle developers (and business people, and lawyers) into compliance with policy. Experienced cat herders will be strongly considered - if you have the right skills and are up to the challenge we would love to talk with you.

Experience of at least 5 years in software development, business operations, or program or product management is required. Pluses would include specific experience with product and/or network security, experience managing the integration of third party technology into product and service offerings, and experience dealing with licensing, contracts, or other intellectual property issues.

The candidate should have excellent teamwork, communication, and decision-making abilities.
