  • Responsibilities

    The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning.

    Salary Range: $80,027 - $98,867 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

    Qualifications

    Education

    Required: Graduate from an approved RN nursing program

    Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

    Experience

    Required: 2 year in a clinical area related to assigned department.

    Preferred: Two years of ambulatory care

    Prior supervisory experience

    License(s)

    Required: Valid and current Texas RN license

    Preferred: N/A

    Special Skills

    Required: Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen

    administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience.

    Preferred: Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned. Windows- based computer

    skills.

    Other

    Required: Current BCLS through American Heart Association

    Experience leading a team

    Preferred: ACLS
