    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree or equivalent, 3 years experience.

    Job Summary:

    To provide collaborative management to the UTMB Family Medicine Residency Training Program to ensure continued program ACGME accreditation. Manage and maintain the scheduling of all residents of the Family Medicine department. To coordinate and directly support administrative and business management activities of residents within a department.

    Job Duties:

    • Plans, organizes and coordinates schedules for all components of a department.

    • Interprets and applies ACGME policies to ensure scheduling compliance.

    • Provides support for and meets regularly with the program manager and program director to attain program goals and objectives and improve the effectiveness of medical education.

    • Maintains resident schedules for all activities, including 3 clinic sites, utilizing QGenda and New Innovation Medical Education Scheduling Suite.

    • Serves as scheduling liaison between the program and other campus and community-based education sites.

    • Communicates all changes in schedules to the appropriate personnel.

    • Responsible for the development, design and updates of complete and accurate program information of all residency recruitment materials, including presentations, recruitment material, and resident handbook.

    • Verification of minimum requirements/criteria for candidate interview consideration; preliminary review of candidate files to establish level of qualification using Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) .

    • Conduct interview evaluation program to assist in the final ranking of program applicants.

    • Develops orientation for new residency appointees.

    • New Intern onboarding via Graduate Medical Education (GME).

    • New house staff/PIT processing via GME/ Texas State Board of Medical Examiners (TSBME)

    • Generate UTMB FM residency Contracts in New Innovations.

    • Planning, organization, and promotion of residency related events, including annual graduation, senior dinner, retreats, and workshops.

    • Ability to operate independently as a results-oriented, decision maker capable ofmaintaining professional relationships with all levels of institutional personnel.

    • Possess excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure the professional achievement of Institutional and Departmental strategic planning and development.

    • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

    Marginal or Periodic Functions:

    • Performs related duties as required.

    Salary Range:

    Commensurate with experience.
