    Coordinator, Annual Giving

    The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving organization of the University of Illinois (University). It works closely with alumni and friends, faculty and staff, corporations and foundations, as well as campus development professionals to create fundraising programs and opportunities that benefit the University.

    The Coordinator of Annual Giving is responsible for the creation, scheduling, and execution for Annual Giving fundraising platforms, with a primary focus on GiveCampus, on behalf of all University of Illinois units. Facilitates donor engagement, optimizes the use of digital fundraising tools, and ensures efficient data management in donor databases.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Administers the Foundation's online donation platform, GiveCampus; collaborates with university units to gather requirements for building custom donation forms and crowdfunding websites; advises on best practices for user-friendly and effective fundraising pages; designs, tests, and launches these forms and sites; ensures timely and responsive support to meet the needs of each unit.

    1. Serves as the primary contact between university units and the Foundation's technical resources to define and implement necessary information for successful donation transactions and the integration of that data into the UIF database. Facilitates regular communication and meetings with unit staff to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

    1. Coordinates additional UIF digital engagement platforms, including but not limited to a video email platform, to enhance donor stewardship and engagement.

    1. Develops comprehensive documentation and training materials to support the use of GiveCampus and other engagement platforms. Provides cross-training with Mass Communications coordinators and Engagement Coordinators to ensure seamless service across all campus partners.

    1. Completes required training on donor engagement platforms. Maintains professional and effective communication with platform vendors and continuously expands knowledge of platform capabilities to recommend enhancements and new features.

    1. Keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices related to Annual Giving and digital fundraising. Supports the Annual Giving and Engagement Services manager and the Donor Services team by introducing innovative ideas and current topics relevant to the field.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Bachelor's degree required, with a preference given for degrees in business, marketing, communications, and information management.

    · Ability to develop productive and sustained relationships with diverse groups and individuals within an organization as well as outside partners and vendors.

    · Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

    · Ability to work on tight deadlines with a high level of efficiency and accuracy, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative work environment. Exercises independent and expert judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness in developing new ideas, approaches, and solutions.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    · 3 years Annual Giving experience.

    · Familiarity with University of Illinois structure and advancement activities

    · Familiarity with and/or willingness to learn new applications and databases
