    Statement: Matt Talbot is a residential substance use treatment program for adult men who are struggling with addiction and may have a co-occurring mental health condition. This program is located in Parma, Ohio.

    What you will do:
    • Prepare meals based on provided meal plan using fresh ingredients.
    • Serve meals cafeteria style with a pleasant and friendly customer service approach.
    • Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of kitchen, dining area, and food equipment, and adhere to all health department standards.
    • Priority given to a candidate who has experience cooking Hispanic food.
    Other Duties as Assigned:
    • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
    • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
    • Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
    • Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
    • Occasionally serve food
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
    • Handle and store ingredients and food
    • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
    • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
    • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
    • Accommodate special requests for residents
    • Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers

    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
