  • Job Title: Controls Technician

    Job Description

    TheControls Technician will work on-site in Charlotte in an industrial manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include proficient use of Rockwell Automation software, simulating, testing, and debugging control systems, assisting with new equipment installation, and repairing equipment to maintain company standards. The role also involves training staff on equipment operation, collaborating with project electricians, conducting pre-installation meetings, and troubleshooting control systems. This role is focused on maintaining and improving manufacturing operations.

    Hard Skills

    • Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View SE, RSLinx)

    • Troubleshoot and replace programs

    • Program/troubleshoot Rockwell/Mitsubishi PLCs

    Soft Skills

    • Ability to work collaboratively

    • Effective communication skills

    • Strong problem-solving skills

    Job Type

    This is a contract-to-hire position (12 months).

    Work Site

    This is an on-site position in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    Work Environment

    ?The workweek is M-F & is for first shift.

    40 hours per week. Anything over that is booked as overtime.
