Controller

Description We are looking for a skilled Controller to oversee our financial operations in the hospitality sector in Miami, Florida. The Controller will be responsible for managing a remote team and will handle a range of accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have experience with public accounting and be familiar with the Netsuite software system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial activities and accounting functions for the company.

• Manage a remote team, ensuring clear communication and efficient operations.

• Utilize Netsuite software for financial management and reporting.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations.

• Conduct regular auditing procedures to ensure financial compliance.

• Manage budget processes, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate company goals.

• Utilize knowledge of DCAA regulations in the management of financial operations.

• Leverage ERP solutions for optimized resource planning.

• Manage financial services in alignment with ADP guidelines.

• Oversee various accounting software systems for comprehensive financial operations. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with DCAA regulations and standards

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience in implementing ERP Solutions

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skills in Auditing financial records and transactions

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Proven ability to develop and maintain financial controls and procedures

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
