Controller

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Medina, Ohio. The role focuses on various aspects of financial management, including the preparation of reports, analysis of financial trends, and collaboration with various teams. This role lies within the heart of our operations in the industry and provides a dynamic workplace environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for management.

• Analyze financial results, identify key drivers and adjustments, and communicate them to various stakeholders.

• Assess and report on cost trends and gross margin results.

• Contribute to the preparation of annual financial plans and monthly financial outlooks.

• Work closely with management to understand business conditions and drive forecast ownership and accountability.

• Implement and train others on accounting requirements and finance process improvements.

• Collaborate with corporate functional departments on various matters such as legal issues, ERP systems, and treasury management.

• Design and implement improvements in financial processes to align with continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.

• Participate in projects related to cost reduction initiatives, manufacturing spend, and operational improvements.

• Optimize cash flow, establish inventory targets with purchasing teams, coordinate accounts receivable activities, and approve capital requests. Requirements - Must be proficient in 3M

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is required

• Familiarity with CRM is a must

• Experience with Crystal Reports is necessary

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required

• Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing is a must

• Knowledge of Budget Processes is required
