    Jennie Joiner is offering an opportunity for a skilled Controller for our Junction City, Oregon client. The selected candidate will be expected to supervise the accounting department of two and manage full cycle accounting functions. The role also provides a lot of autonomy and potential for growth within the organization. The Controller will oversee the accounting operations for a company in the manufacturing industry. This role is crucial in managing/processing accounting functions, along with managing the accounting department.     Key Responsibilities

    Accounting Operations

    • Manage daily accounting tasks such as processing emails and entering new bills.

    • Reconcile all bank accounts and ensure accurate financial transaction recordings.

    • Reconcile Accounts Receivable

    • Update prepaid property taxes, prepaid rents, recurring expenses

    • Prepare the monthly Tax Report

    • Maintain and update records for customer payments, auto-payments, and other financial entries in QuickBooks and other internal systems.

    Financial Reporting and Compliance

    • Update and maintain records for prepaid rents, expenses, and inventory

    • Ensure accurate recording of capital purchases, depreciation, and amortization.

    • Prepare reports for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

    Cost and Payroll Management

    • Manage the accruals for payroll and loan interest, ensuring accurate financial forecasting.

    • Allocate costs effectively across different cost centers, particularly focusing on hay production and truck logistics.

    Inventory and Asset Management

    • Oversee inventory management

    Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

    • In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions

    • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Knowledge of Auditing practices and principles

    • Familiarity with Budget Processes

    • Experience in managing Payroll

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

    • Ability to provide Financial Oversight

    • Experience in Financial Reporting

    • Knowledge of Bookkeeping practices

    • Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper

    • Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance

    • Experience with Journal Entries
